The Perfect Catch
Nightly river cruises were a highlight of a trip on the Lower Zambezi. One night offered me the chance to capture the successful fishing of a Pied kingfisher. When I look at this photograph, I hear the kingfisher saying “check out my fish! It’s almost as big as I am!”
